A PureVPN dedicated IP alternative with open ports included

PureVPN sells a dedicated IP and port forwarding as two separate add-ons. GetAStatic is a WireGuard VPN with your own US IPv4 in one price, from $2/mo, and the inbound ports are part of the plan.

The problem

What PureVPN's dedicated IP does, and what it leaves out

PureVPN's dedicated IP gives you one address that only you use, so logins and allowlists see the same IP each time.

Inbound traffic is a second purchase. PureVPN lists port forwarding as a separate add-on, so SSH, a game server or a camera needs the IP and the port add-on together. Each add-on raises the monthly cost, and the price you see first is not the price you pay for both.

Your own static IP over WireGuard. No VPS.

Why use GetAStatic?

Where GetAStatic is different

  • The WireGuard VPN, your own US IPv4 and open ports in one plan, from $2/mo
  • Inbound TCP and UDP ports you open yourself: 5 open ports on Plus, unlimited open ports on Pro
  • AmneziaWG and UDP ports 1194 or 443 for networks that block VPNs
  • A standard WireGuard config for routers, servers and Docker; pay by card or crypto
How it works

One plan: the VPN, the IP and the ports

With GetAStatic there is nothing to add on. Plus costs $2/mo for the WireGuard VPN, one dedicated US IPv4 and 5 open ports; Pro costs $4/mo for 2 IPs and unlimited open ports. Every port starts closed; you open the ones you need in the dashboard, with no ticket.

One standard WireGuard config runs on phones, PCs, routers and servers; on a router, every device on your network uses your IP. On networks that block VPNs, switch to AmneziaWG or UDP port 443. Pay by card or crypto, with a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Setup

Set up the IP, then open ports if you need them

For logins and allowlists, skip step 2.

  1. Choose a plan and sign up. Your US IPv4 appears in the dashboard.
  2. If something must accept connections, open its port on that IP and choose TCP or UDP.
  3. Download the WireGuard config, or scan its QR code on a phone.
  4. Import it into WireGuard on the device or router that should use the IP, and turn the tunnel on.
  5. Check a what-is-my-IP site, then share YOUR-IP:port for each open service.

No port add-on needed: these are part of the plan.

Good to know

Good to know

  • Two locations: Kansas City, Missouri and San Jose, California, USA. It is a datacenter IP, not a residential one.
  • Built for a stable address, not anonymity.
  • Speed is capped per plan: 20 Mbps on Plus, 100 Mbps on Pro, 1 Gbps on Ultra. Monthly data is capped too.
  • Each IP is one WireGuard config, active on one device at a time. Run it on a router and every device behind it shares the IP; the plan card's device figure is a guide, not a cap. Extra IPs are $2/mo.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

01Does PureVPN's dedicated IP include port forwarding?

No. As of 2026-10-06, PureVPN lists port forwarding as a separate add-on to the dedicated IP. GetAStatic includes ports in the plan: 5 open ports on Plus, unlimited open ports on Pro.

02Does anyone else use my IP?

No. The IPv4 is assigned to your account only. It does not rotate, and it stays yours until you cancel.

03Do I need a separate VPN subscription?

No. GetAStatic is the VPN: one plan covers the WireGuard tunnel, your dedicated IP and the ports.

04Will my bank see the same address when I travel?

Yes. The US IP does not change with the country or network you connect from, so your bank sees one address at every login. See a static US IP for logins and a static IP while traveling.

05Which ports can I open?

TCP or UDP, single ports or ranges, opened in the dashboard. Every port on a new IP starts closed. Plus opens up to 5; Pro and Ultra have no limit.

06Does it work where VPNs are blocked?

Usually, yes. Connect on UDP port 1194 or 443, or switch to AmneziaWG, which every plan includes. See WireGuard blocked.
