You can now open individual ports by number, via a range, or open and close all ports at once. This is configurable per-ip-address.
You can find the setting on your Dashboard at Devices -> 'Open ports'.
Pro plan users can now unlock Gigabit speed for $5/mo per IP address. The option is available at: Dashboard -> Devices -> Speed -> "Unlock 1 Gbps". The new speed will be effectively immediately.
The Basic plan's monthly bandwidth allowance is now 10 GB (was 100GB). Basic is our free tier. We will continue adjusting the free tier to accommodate all of our clients and still provide a useful free service.
Update: removed free trials from paid plans. It was too complex and served little purpose. Anyone wanting a free trial can just use the Free/Basic plan.
I have upgraded our Monero payment flow and in addition, you can now start the 7-day free trial without a card using Monero. Pay a small ($0.25) wallet-verification amount in Monero and it is credited straight back to your GetAStatic balance — it exists only to confirm a real wallet is behind the account -- preventing abuse of our free trials.
Every paid plan can now be bought annually, and the annual price is 10 months of the monthly price — 2 months free. It works on both payment rails: card and Monero.
Pick Monthly or Annual on the pricing page before checkout, or switch an existing service from your Dashboard. Annual renewals advance from the end of your current period, so nothing is lost by switching anytime.
Every GetAStatic address can now carry a custom hostname (rDNS/PTR) of your choosing. Available from your Dashboard. Useful for anything that checks PTR records, or for simply having an address you can read or will show in your log files, in a firewall, on IRC, etc.
Unlock it for $5 per IP, change it as often as you want.
