Dedicated US static IPs for Octo Browser

Give your Octo Browser profiles their own dedicated US IP addresses with GetAStatic, starting at $2/month. Import a WireGuard configuration directly into Octo, and your profile uses the same IP every time you connect. Use one IP across several profiles or assign different IPs to keep them separate.

The problem

A shared VPN exit is not your profile's own address

Octo Browser keeps each profile's cookies, browsing data, and fingerprint separate. But that doesn't automatically give each profile a different IP address. Without a proxy or VPN assigned, your profiles normally use the same public IP as your computer.

Many VPNs use IP addresses shared by other customers, and some change your IP when you reconnect. That can mean extra login checks or problems caused by other users sharing the address. With a dedicated static IP, your profile keeps the same address, and nobody else uses it.

Your own static IP over WireGuard. No VPS.

Why use GetAStatic?

What Octo users run on a dedicated IP

  • Agencies that keep each client's social and ad accounts on an address of their own
  • Online stores with several storefronts, each signing in from one stable address
  • Teams that share a profile and need it to show the same IP for every team member
  • Checking ads and pages from a fixed US address
How it works

One dedicated IP per profile, inside Octo

Every GetAStatic IP includes a WireGuard configuration you can import directly into Octo Browser. Your profile then connects through your own dedicated US IP in Kansas City, Missouri or San Jose, California. Nobody else uses that address, and it stays the same while your service is active. Give different profiles their own IPs, or use the same IP across several profiles on one computer.

Octo handles the VPN connection inside each profile, so your other applications keep using their normal internet connection. Octo also supports AmneziaWG. If your network blocks WireGuard, you can switch to AmneziaWG in the GetAStatic dashboard and import that configuration instead.

It is a datacenter IP, not a home ISP address. IP lookup services list it as hosting, and some platforms check hosting addresses more strictly. What it is not is a shared exit: only you use it.

Pay for the number of different IP addresses you need, not the number of profiles you create. Plus includes one IP, Pro includes 2, and you can add more to any plan for $2/mo each.

Setup

Add your IP to an Octo profile

  1. Choose a plan and sign up. Your new IP shows in the dashboard.
  2. Download the WireGuard config for that IP. If WireGuard is blocked where you are, switch the IP to AmneziaWG in the dashboard and download that config instead.
  3. In Octo Browser, open the profile's connection settings, add a VPN, and upload the .conf file or paste its text.
  4. Start the profile and open a what-is-my-IP site. It should show your dedicated address.
  5. Repeat with a new IP for each profile you want on its own address.

Each IP is one WireGuard config, active on one device at a time. Run it on a router and every device behind it shares the IP; the plan card's device figure is a guide, not a cap. Octo can use the same configuration in multiple profiles on one computer. If you want different IPs for different profiles, assign a separate GetAStatic IP to each. Don't run the same configuration simultaneously on different computers or in a separate WireGuard app.

Good to know

Know this before you buy

  • A datacenter IP. Some platforms block or score hosting addresses, and we cannot promise that a particular site will accept it.
  • One device per configuration at a time. Multiple Octo profiles on one computer can share a configuration, but using it on separate devices simultaneously can interrupt the connection.
  • Octo's VPN feature belongs to Octo. Menu names in the steps above can change with their updates.
  • Built for a stable address, not anonymity.
  • Every connection travels to Kansas City, Missouri or San Jose, California and back. Users far from the IP's city see some extra delay.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

01Do I need the WireGuard app on my computer?

No. Octo runs the config inside the profile. Install the app only if you also want the IP outside Octo, and then not while the profile is running.

02Can two profiles share one IP?

Yes. Octo supports using the same VPN configuration in multiple profiles on one computer, even at the same time. If you want each profile to have a different IP, you'll need a separate GetAStatic IP for each. Pro includes 2, and extra IPs cost $2/mo each.

03If a profile sits unused for weeks, do I keep the IP?

Yes. On a paid plan the IP is yours while the plan is active, whether you use it or not. It is never handed to anyone else in the meantime.

04Does the AmneziaWG config work in Octo?

Yes. Octo lists AmneziaWG as supported. Switch the IP to AmneziaWG in the dashboard, download that config and import it the same way. Use it where WireGuard is filtered.
